Sweater Weather Quilt Pattern
This quilt came together in the coldest time of the year in Edmonton! Two weeks of below -25 C! I was always wearing a sweater. I was also in the middle of quarantining as my husband and my son had Covid-19. Surprisingly, I didn't get sick! Maybe because I was always in my sewing room! I was experimenting with designs and this one spoke to me of toasty warm sweaters!
This quilt makes it is easy to use solids, prints, wovens or linen. Make it with three colours or more!
This quilt is not based on a block pattern but on simple HSTs and modified HSTs called cross over blocks. These blocks may have another name, but I haven't found it yet!
This is an experienced beginner quilt pattern and comes in three different sizes; Baby, Throw and Queen sized.
This is a quilt pattern that assumes quilter has knowledge of basic piecing and can use consistent 1/4" seam allowances.
